What is the Royal Mail Tracked delivery option?

Royal Mail Tracked is a new Royal Mail service that provides more detailed tracking of parcels than any other Royal Mail service.

It's not as fast as First Class Post, but offers more peace of mind because your parcel is scanned as it moves around the country.

What to expect from Royal Mail Tracked

When your parcel is sent by Royal Mail Tracked, you can see its progress on the Royal Mail Track and Trace Web site by clicking the tracking link that is sent to you in your despatch confirmation e-mail.

LoveHoney is based in Bath in the south west of Britain, so your parcel's first stop is at the Bristol Mail Centre.

The Royal Mail Web site won't be updated until a good few hours after your parcel has been despatched, but when it is, you will see this message.

Brilliantly, we sent this test parcel back to ourselves in Bath. Two days after despatch, the Royal Mail Web site confirms that the parcel has been received back at the Bath Delivery Office (DO) and is "being prepared for delivery".
