The winner of our penultimate hen night draw is Sabine, who's planning an eighties style hen night - complete with roller disco and Fame theme - for her friend Fiona.

The big event isn't happening until January 2009, but Sabine has already put the Hen Night HQ Hen Night Planner to good use, to keep everyone updated on the plans.

Our winner for September is the lovely Sam, who's busy planning a second hen night for her sister, Natalie (that's them playing around with those scrummy - and rather cheeky - looking eclairs! Sam's on the right, and the snap was taken on her hen night, which was arranged by Natalie!)

Planning a hen night for your best friend can either be the ultimate honour, or an absolute nightmare!

The TimesOnline's specialist reporter, Harriet Long, has recently produced an article on her experiences of organising a hen party for an old school friend.

Having been asked to be the maid-of-honour, Harriet also discovered that she would be the organiser for the hen do too! With no previous experience of hen parties, she set about asking friends for advice:

"The reaction from most was scare stories of town centre calamities, exclusive nightclub guestlists leaving hens stranded with nowhere to party and horrific drunken accidents. One friend advised me to 'never, never assume that the hen will want a stripper'.

The stripper she had organised succeeded in bringing her bride-to-be to tears with his over-active dance routine. Wise words indeed, and I was determined to make my maid-of-honour duties a success."

Rumour has it that Eastenders' Dawn Swann is set for a hen night of horror - to which she will be completely oblivious until her wedding day!

Although having renewed her romance with Jason Dyer, she will be left waiting at the registry office until best friend, Garry Hobbs, arrives to deliver the devastating news that Jason has been tortured and killed by local gangsters!

Kara, the talented actress who plays Dawn, explains:

"Dawn thinks Garry is going to try to stop the wedding because he is still in love with her, but eventually he tells her Jase is dead and Dawn is in shock."
