"Eva Longoria, the 33-year-old Desperate Housewives star, married basketball player Tony Parker last year and cut out all sweets - her beloved cupcakes to boot - in the weeks before their wedding.

Her trainer Patrick Murphy got her eating protein-rich foods such as grilled fish and chicken, high-fibre brown rice and pasta. Patrick credits her husband too: "Tony helped Eva with her workouts before her wedding," he says."

Simliarly, the stunning Colleen McLoughlin worked out just as hard for her big day by doing lots of exercise and eating a fibre rich diet. Her personal trainer explains:
